National Alliance of Environmental Specialists Insurance Program (NAESIP) has announced the appointment of Joseph Filippone (pictured) as commercial lines account executive.
Filippone has more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining NAESIP, he held various executive management roles at companies including Farmers Insurance and AIG. He served as an agency producer at Farmers, where he managed marketing and customer relations for both personal and commercial lines.
As a senior account analyst at AIG, Filippone’s role included underwriting, account management and providing strategic guidance.
Filippone began his insurance career as an accounts specialist for the Jefferson Insurance Group. He is a graduate of Kean University.
NAESIP provides pollution coverage for both environmental and non-environmental businesses. It is among the top 20 wholesale niche brokers in the US specializing in environmental insurance.
