Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired the assets of RIMS Insurance Brokerage Corporation. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Rhode Island-based RIMS Insurance Brokerage Corporation, founded in 1988, offers medical professional liability, life, health, workers’ compensation, business owners’ insurance and other coverage. Its focus on the healthcare industry supports Hub’s specialty practices, Hub said.

Robert Anderson, president of RIMS Insurance Brokerage Corporation, will join Hub New England. He will report to Daniel Nissi, Hub New England Healthcare Specialty Practice president.
