Liberty Mutual’s National Insurance operation has created a specialized healthcare claims team that will help healthcare companies manage the total cost of their casualty claims.
The specialized healthcare claims team will provide companies – along with the agents and brokers supporting those companies – “expert resources” that understand the healthcare industry and know the best ways to manage and mitigate the industry’s unique risks, a company release said.
“Managing casualty claims for healthcare companies through a specialized team produces better outcomes by harnessing expertise and efficiency,” said Liberty Mutual National Insurance healthcare practice chief underwriting officer Jeff Duncan.
“Healthcare is like no other profession. Effectively managing healthcare workers compensation and auto liability claims requires a deep understanding of clinical settings, their unique risks, and the best ways to deliver positive claims outcomes while supporting quality care,” Duncan stated.
On top of primary property and casualty products and specialized underwriting, claims and risk control teams, Liberty also offers a custom all-lines coverage solution from IronHealth, which also provides specialized claims handling services for specialty coverages.
