Alera Group has announced the acquisition of Utah-based J&J Benefits Insurance Agency, an employee benefits consulting and health insurance agency serving clients in Utah and Idaho. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Unlike a lot of agencies that try and provide many lines of insurance, we believe in being experts in one field,” said JJ Jones, founder and president of J&J Benefits Insurance Agency. “We’re focusing on simplifying healthcare and employee benefits so business owners can focus on the success of their organization.”
J&J Benefits has served hundreds of small, medium and large-sized businesses during its more than 30 years in operation. The firm provides a range of employee benefits and health insurance products, including group health insurance, group life insurance, group dental and vision, group short-term and long-term disability, voluntary benefits HSA, HRA, FSA and individual Medicare coverage.
J&J Benefits joins Alera Group through Banasky, an Alera Group company in Utah. J&J Benefits employees will continue serving clients in their existing roles.
