Clients of Hub International Limited will have access to expanded services in agribusiness and high-net-worth personal insurance following the company’s acquisition of Malloy Imrie & Vasconi Insurance Services, LLC (MIV Insurance).
MIV Insurance, an independent brokerage based in Napa Valley, Calif., provides commercial, employee benefits, and personal insurance to clients across the state.
The firm specializes in agribusiness, particularly in the wine industry, which aligns with Hub’s specialty practice and private client segment.
This marks Hub International’s seventh acquisition in 2025. Other recent acquisitions include Yavitz Insurance, Mayfield Insurance, and John L. Kiley Agency Inc., reflecting the company’s continued effort to expand its geographic reach and industry-specific capabilities.
As part of the transaction, MIV Insurance partners and producers – including Timothy Malloy, David Capponi, Ted Bystrowski, and Kevin Dickenson – will join Hub Central & Northern California (Hub CNC).
The firm will continue operating under the name “MIV Insurance, a Hub International company.”
"MIV Insurance's depth of knowledge and experience in the wine industry and high net worth personal insurance will bolster our offerings and services to clients," said Darren Caesar, the CEO of Hub CNC.
Malloy said that joining Hub allows MIV Insurance to maintain its core services while offering clients a more comprehensive range of insurance resources.
"With Hub's deep understanding of the agriculture industry and access to a wider variety of insurance resources and solutions, we will be able to focus on our core services while also providing industry-leading services and capabilities to our clients," said Malloy.
