Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Parker-Haskins Insurance, an independent agency based in Dodge City, Kansas.

The deal further strengthens the insurance firm's presence in the Midwest and adds significant crop insurance expertise to its portfolio.

Kansas represents an important growth market for insurers, particularly in the agricultural sector. As one of the top US states for wheat, sorghum and cattle production, it carriers unique exposures linked to crop losses, weather volatility and commodity markets.

Since strong local distribution is critical, the company said Parker-Haskins' long-standing expertise in crop insurance is expected to position it to deepen its role in supporting agribusiness clients while broadening its personal and commercial offerings in the region.

Founded in 1986 by Doug Parker and Donna Haskins, Parker-Haskins has built a strong reputation across Western Kansas, with some clients remaining with the firm since the mid-1990s.

Inszone confirmed that Parker-Haskins staff will remain in place and continue operating from the Dodge City office, while gaining access to broader resources and expanded carrier relationships. Walters said the acquisition strengthens Inszone’s presence in Kansas and complements its growth strategy nationwide.

Earlier this month, Inszone also acquired Lexington Insurance Agency, marking its entry into the Kentucky market and continuing its growth across the Midwest and Southeast. The addition of Lexington brought another well-established independent agency into Inszone’s national network.

In addition, Inszone acquired High Desert Insurance and Group LLC, an independent insurance agency based in Bend, Oregon. That deal expanded Inszone’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and adds to its portfolio of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance solutions.
