Gregory Rankin provides risk management oversight for the American Red Cross, the nonprofit whose mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers.

With more than 24 years of leadership experience in a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, technology and banking, Rankin is now responsible for all aspects of risk management finance for the humanitarian organization. He explains that the Red Cross’ large community of volunteers, mostly working in disaster or emergency areas, face potential risks on a daily basis as they carry out their work. Rankin served as a client manager at Marsh before joining logistics and supply chain company Browz prior to his tenure at the Red Cross.

Gregory is just one of the 124 risk managers profiled in the latest issue of IBA.
