Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has announced that it has expanded its US executive and professional lines leadership team. The company has named Shelley Norman as senior vice president of management liability for its Central Region, as well as promoting Kevin Gallagher to senior vice president of management liability for the East Region and Sean Cox to senior vice president of management liability for the West Region.

“BHSI’s clear, concise management liability solutions, transparency in risk underwriting and pricing, and financial strength are in high demand in today’s marketplace,” said Dave Breshnahan, executive vice president at BHSI. “Our new executive and professional lines leadership structure enables us to bring exceptional focus and expertise to serving targeted management liability accounts – public, private and nonprofit – throughout the US.”

Norman joins BHSI after spending more than 25 years at AIG, where she most recently served as financial lines zonal executive. She has also served as head of private non-profit management liability for the US and Canada and chief underwriting officer for the private non-profit management liability team.

Gallagher has more than 20 years of industry experience. He joined BHSI in 2013 as vice president of executive lines. He previously served as assistant vice president for Arch Insurance’s Executive Assurance and Financial Lines Group.

Cox has more than 16 years of experience in executive and professional lines. He joined BHSI in 2014 as vice president for executive lines. Prior to joining BHSI, he served as assistant regional underwriting manager at AIG.
