The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) has named Zurich Insurance as one of its top 60 companies for female decision makers in 2017. This is the second year the company has been awarded the honor.
Through the award, NAFE recognizes American firms where women have significant clout in the decision making process, its strategy for the future, and the bottom line.
“This recognition from NAFE is the result of Zurich’s deliberate focus on creating a workplace environment that nurtures the development of our people,” Mike Foley, Zurich North America chief executive, said in a company statement.

“Being more inclusive and leveraging the diversity of our workforce will help drive better outcomes, including better solutions for our customers and an enhanced…reputation in our communities.”
The NAFE survey evaluates firms on workplace dimensions for women, such as succession planning, pay parity, support programs, work-life balance initiatives, and others.
