Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointment of Brian Flasinski (pictured above left) as CEO for its North America region.
Flasinski will succeed Jim Bradshaw (pictured above right), who will transition to the role of chairman for Gallagher Re North America. The appointments will become effective following a transition period later this year.
Flasinski joined the company in 2015. He most recently served as executive vice president and North American sales leader. Prior to his tenure at Gallagher Re, Flasinski served for nine years as a vice president at Guy Carpenter.

Bradshaw has more than 40 years of industry experience. He joined Gallagher Re as CEO of the North American region in 2021 following the company’s acquisition of Willis Re. Bradshaw joined Willis Re in 2005 as executive vice president and managing director, later serving as CEO of its North American business.

Earlier this month, Gallagher Re announced the appointment of André Gerling as head of region for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Central and Eastern Europe. In January, the company announced the appointment of Virgil Antonio de Souza as head of surety and credit for Latin America and the Caribbean.
