Evergreen Insurance and Risk Management has promoted one of its employees to serve as the company’s newest vice-president of operations.

Joel Kivelevitz, who was most recently account executive for large businesses, was tapped to serve as the new vice-president. His promotion came into effect earlier this month.

Kivelevitz has been working at Evergreen for more than five years. As the vice-president of operations, he will be in charge of managing services and account renewals. He will report directly to COO Alan Pollak.

“This is our most exciting day yet at Evergreen. We have achieved many outstanding accomplishments and marked several milestones, but this one tops them all,” said Evergreen president and CEO Izzy Green. “This shows that when someone invests heart and dedication into Evergreen, their efforts will be rewarded. It demonstrates that everyone can build themselves a future at Evergreen.”

“When I first joined Evergreen a little over five years ago I was looking to change my career. I sat across the table from Sol and Izzy and I saw and heard their vision and enthusiasm for growing the company. I embraced their vision and accepted the job,” commented Kivelevitz.

“I am not surprised that the company has grown tremendously from its relatively humble size then, as I envisioned that the company would be really big one day. Evergreen is always looking to be up to date; growing, changing and educating themselves to be at the forefront of the industry.”

“One of the main reasons I enjoy working here is that the partners are always open to employee suggestions and ideas and they cultivate a great atmosphere in the office. Evergreen truly values its employees,” Kivelevitz added.
