Multi-state regional insurance brokerage Buckner has appointed Lance Butler as president of Colorado. In his new role, Butler will be responsible for managing top-line growth and operations in the state.

Butler has more than 25 years of experience with large commercial accounts and the management of sales teams, the company said.

“Lance Butler brings to the Buckner Company an impressive record of success,” said CEO Terry Buckner. “He is not only a great and motivating leader, but he is a well-respected insurance professional. He will play an integral role in growing our Colorado office by building a great team that is dedicated to providing the best of the best to our client and our carrier partners.”

Founded in 1936, The Buckner Company is one of the west’s largest regional insurance brokerages, placing more than $200 million in insurance premiums through offices in Utah, Colorado and Idaho.
