Specialty MGA Nexus Underwriting has announced the appointment of Christof Bentele as president of its new specialty casualty business.

Bentele joins Nexus from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he served as a director in the alternative risk business. He has also run specialty casualty teams at Aon and JLT Group.
