ClaimRide has partnered with a major carsharing marketplace service, allowing the customers of insurance carriers the former works with to enjoy the latter’s rental service.

The transportation benefits provider has formed a deal with transportation company Turo – a car sharing marketplace where drivers can rent any car they want.

ClaimRide’s turnkey solution to provide access to transportation services is “an enhancement to insurance carrier’s traditional replacement rental program,” thanks to the company’s patent pending benefits system and mobile application, a release said.

“We are excited about the opportunity to work with the leader in the carsharing space to now offer a seamless experience for customers to access replacement vehicles in the event of their vehicle being out of service due to an accident or breakdown,” ClaimRide CMO Josh Schlesinger said.

“Turo is in a unique position to provide customers who need a replacement vehicle a superior alternative to traditional car rental: greater convenience, including delivery and presence in over 6,000 cities; outstanding selection of over 850 makes and models; and better value,” commented Turo head of strategic partnerships Andro Vrdoljak. “Our relationship with ClaimRide will enable customers to access the perfect car when they need it most.”
