Insurance agency management firm In-Fi has teamed up with fintech Wela to power its website with AI capabilities.

Wela’s AI chatbot, Benjamin, will be fully integrated into In-Fi’s website. A release said that the AI will be used to assess the insurance needs of website visitors, as well as to assist In-Fi in reviewing insurance applications, cross-selling, and providing communication management.

Benjamin also supports the mortgage origination process by offering insurance coverage options that meet lender requirements to In-Fi’s client and partner mortgage applicants.

“Establishing partnerships with visionary companies like In-Fi is how we’ll achieve our overall goal of Benjamin providing guidance throughout the entire financial journey,” commented Wela co-founder and CEO Matt Reiner.

Reiner explained that the creation of Benjamin for Wela’s app meant that customers no longer needed to go through the tedious process of approaching a human financial advisor for help.

“Benjamin was able to shift the time financial advisors spent on those tasks to providing clients with a better quality, more robust experience. We know he will be able to do the same for In-Fi and its clients,” he added.

“The integration of Benjamin on our website will result in an overall better client experience,” said In-Fi partner Jon Chasteen. “By automating an otherwise mundane application process for insurance customers, our agents will be able to spend more meaningful, consultative time with clients and prospects.”
