Sedgwick has expanded its managed care division with the appointment of Josephine Copeland (pictured) as the division’s senior vice president of product design and strategy.

The new SVP of product design and strategy will lead the company’s efforts to develop “innovative, state-of-the-art managed care and medical cost containment solutions,” Sedgwick said, in order to drive optimal outcomes for both clients and claimants.

Copeland has more than 20 years of industry experience and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wesley College.

“I am honored to join Sedgwick’s managed care leadership team and am eager to dive in and provide clients with the tools to safely and effectively reintegrate employees back into the workplace,” said Copeland, who added that she is excited to be part of an organization that “strongly aligns” with her values by putting the care of people at the center of its work.

Sedgwick’s managed care solutions focus on helping organizations safely bring their employees back to work after an illness or injury. The company’s integrated solutions include comprehensive claims and managed care services.
