National wholesale insurance brokerage and managing general agent (MGA) Worldwide Facilities has launched a new workers’ compensation division.

The division has a dedicated team of seven workers’ compensation specialists led by senior vice president, Todd Pollock, who has more than 25 years of workers’ compensation experience under his belt. The team will work from an office on the outskirts of Boston, further expanding Worldwide Facilities’ footprint in the Northeast.

“The workers’ compensation division offers more than a dozen markets available for nationwide risk placement,” Pollock commented. “Our markets will accommodate any size risk, both new and difficult to place. This new division strives to provide a package of expertise, market knowledge and the highest quality service.”

Minimum premiums will start as low as $1,000, and there’s no maximum for larger insureds, who might also be able to purchase loss sensitive options. The division will accept most classes of business, including higher-hazard exposures such as healthcare, transportation, and construction.

“Worldwide Facilities has a diverse range of products, but we didn’t have brokers with specialized expertise in this area,” said Davis Moore, CEO of Worldwide Facilities. “This is a $53 billion segment of the industry, and we sensed a need to expand our capabilities in this area.

“Todd’s team has both broad and deep expertise in workers’ compensation. We’re confident that insurance agents will find us a very effective partner.”
