Akhil Chopra is a Managing Director, Cyber Growth Leader for the Pacific Series of Lockton. His responsibilities include growth for the Cyber Product, innovative technology solutions and group purchasing strategies for the Private Equity industry, as well as broader initiatives to bring operational efficiency to purchasing Cyber insurance. Prior to joining Lockton, Akhil was a Managing Director, Head of Cyber at NFP. He was responsible for the overall NFP cyber strategy and brokerage operations. Before NFP, Akhil spent his time at Marsh, where he built out and managed multiple teams across the country to help sell cyber offerings to new and existing clients. He developed key trading relationships in the marketplace to provide unique risk transfer solutions and services. Akhil has more than 20 years of experience in the cyber industry, all of which have been focused on insurance advisory, brokerage and placement. His technical expertise includes Cyber Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Media Liability and Technology E&O. He brings years of experience building out strategies, initiatives, and teams to help better drive product awareness and informed buying decisions.
