“Commercial property and casualty insurance packages are a top-seller for me,” Gray told Insurance Business, “as they include a lot of extra coverages that could be important in the event of a claim for my clients; and are competitively priced.”

Gray is one of the brokers in contention to make the Top 30 Elite Brokers list, to be released in the September issue of Insurance Business magazine.

Making the Elite Top 30 list is a great opportunity to give your business a boost and to make sure all the major insurers and underwriters know who you are. For those who made last year’s list, it has proven to be an invaluable independent third-party endorsement that is beneficial in marketing to new and existing clients.
Gray, with 21 years of experience in the industry, says that while she insures a lot of her clients with Wawanesa and Intact, she does look to MGAs for those riskier coverages.

“We use MGA's quite a bit for hard to place, higher risk or unusual risks,” says Gray. “They are an attractive source for insuring businesses because of their capacity and coverage availability.”

Remember, to be eligible for consideration to make the Top 30 Elite Broker list, you MUST fully complete the survey.
