A Buffalo native with more than 35 years of experience, Marcia Brogan is a pillar in her local community. In addition to being the owner of her own insurance agency, Brogan is past president of The Kenmore Business Association and past president of the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
In 2018, Brogan created the “Start a Conversation” program with a number of high schools in which NAWBO members met with female students to help empower them with information and help educate them on the opportunities and benefits of entrepreneurship. Also in 2018, Brogan was honored by NAWBO as Member of the Year. Brogan’s other awards include being named a Buffalo Business First’s Women of Influence 2017, New York State Women’s 2016 Women in Leadership Award, the 2013 Excellence in Leadership Award from The State Council of Early Care and Learning, and more.
