Recently, Sharone Menczel Poopor joined Everest Insurance as vice president within the company’s Structured Solutions group, where she is responsible for underwriting unusual and complex risks, and providing clients with a range of bespoke underwriting solutions. Prior to joining Everest, Menczel Pooper was a senior vice president/senior managing underwriter at Ironshore, where she managed a structured reinsurance portfolio and led its new product development efforts. Previously, she led the product innovation group and private equity/financial institutions groups at Ironshore. Before joining the insurance industry, Menczel Poopor was a tax attorney with Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Kirkland & Ellis.
