Christopher Croft, London & International Insurance Brokers' Association (UK)

CEO

Christopher Croft has been leading the London & International Insurance Brokers' Association (LIIBA) as its chief executive since January 2016. One of his main tasks as CEO is to help LIIBA represent its members’ views to government, regulators, and in market debate. As part of his LIIBA CEO role, he is also director of BIPAR (European Federation of Insurance Intermediaries), and sits on the executive committee of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII). Prior to his current role, Croft was head of the London Market Group’s secretariat, where he led the work that produced the milestone London Matters report. He began his career as economic adviser at the Department of Transport, before he became programme manager at the Financial Services Authority. He also held the roles of senior consultant at Regul8, programme manager at Tribal Group, and financial services practice manager at Attevo UK. He also used to be vice president of the Insurance Institute of London. Croft earned an MA Hons in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the Brasenose College, University of Oxford.
