President of global energy practice

Erin Lynch joined the insurance industry after working as a broadcast journalist for five years and quickly aligned with mentors who encouraged her to create a niche expertise. Today, Lynch serves as president of the global energy practice at Beecher Carlson, where she’s been since December 2006. Charged with leading the production team and directing the overall strategy for the department, Lynch is instrumental in developing risk mitigation strategies for difficult-to-place power generation exposures and takes pride in coordinating a broad array of resources for her clients. She joined Beecher Carlson from Willis, where she was account executive for nearly two years. Beyond her daily job duties, Lynch strives to recruit and promote women into senior leadership roles within the practice. Since assuming the role of president, Lynch and the senior members of her team have led a reorganization of the department, focusing on providing leadership and career development opportunities. She also serves on the GCube Insurance Services advisory council and is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Winner of the 2020 Insurance Business Elite Women, Lynch has a B.S. Journalism degree from the University of Oregon.
