Promutuel Insurance and vehicle auction company Copart Canada have renewed their contract.

The contract allows Promutuel to benefit from Copart’s global buyer base and national footprint. It also allows Copart customers to access Promutuel’s inventory, either through Copart’s online auction platform or mobile app.

A release noted that Promutuel has been leveraging Copart’s “Ready for Guidewire” accelerator, which streamlines information integration over the Guidewire Marketplace. The accelerator creates efficiencies for both Promutuel and Copart by enabling access and updates related to vehicles, a release said.

“We are extremely pleased to renew our partnership with Promutuel Insurance,” commented Copart Canada managing director Steve Macaluso.

In late November, Promutuel’s board of directors elected Geneviève Fortier to serve as CEO, succeeding Norman Morin. Morin had served as interim CEO since April last year.
