Insurance software developer Applied Systems announced yesterday that it has released the latest version of its rating services.

The updated service, Applied Rating Services 2017, “provides an enhanced user experience and enables brokerages to further automate rating workflows through tighter integration with the brokerage management system,” a release said.

The release went on to state that the latest version of the service would enable brokerages to improve lead management and customer service via eSignature capabilities.

Some key capabilities of the rating services’ latest build include:
  • Attachment management: Direct integration with Applied Epic and Applied TAM automates the policy document attachment order during the integration attachment workflow, enabling brokers to present attachments to clients in the brokerage’s preferred order.
  • Lead management: Prospect tracking and distribution to brokerage staff through seamless download of internet-based leads into the brokerage management system to ensure timely lead follow-up.
  • Integrated eSignature: In partnership with Citrix RightSignature, brokerages can process contracts, applications and internal documents with legally-binding e-signatures to ensure security and compliance.
  • Enhanced user interface: Improves usability and provides access to comprehensive help documentation within the application for customer self-service support.
