BrokerLink, one of Canada’s largest property and casualty (P&C) insurance brokerages, has kicked off June 2022 with a double acquisition.

The Toronto-headquartered brokerage has expanded its presence in Ontario by acquiring Insurance Executives Brokers & Consultants Inc (Insurance Executives) and Goodison Insurance and Financial Services Limited (Goodison Insurance), effective June 1, 2022.

Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Insurance Executives is a family-run insurance brokerage operating since 2004. Insurance Executives president Piero Molinaro, his wife Silvia Molinaro, and their team provide home, auto, business, and life insurance (via Essential Life Financial) solutions, focusing on customised coverage needs.

Meanwhile, Brampton-based Goodison Insurance has been offering personal and business financial insurance services and life insurance solutions for 80 years. Goodison Insurance president Scott Goodison said the brokerage's success was driven by its employees committed to providing outstanding customer service and delivering competitive and innovative insurance products.

As part of the deal, Insurance Executives and Goodison Insurance will continue to serve their local community members as part of the BrokerLink team.

Commenting on the double acquisition, BrokerLink president Joe D'Annunzio highlighted the two brokerages' deep relationships with their customers and communities.

“We believe that insurance is about people, and we'll continue to build on these relationships and deliver local, customized insurance solutions that their customers have come to expect,” he added.

The double swoop follows BrokerLink's acquisition of Greg Kelly Insurance Brokerage Ltd. and Rice Inc in Ontario, announced in April 2022. With over 200 branches and 3,000 employees, BrokerLink has become one of Canada's largest property and casualty (P&C) insurance brokerages.
