CHES Special Risk is looking to enhance broker engagement by holding an exclusive, live Q&A event this month.
On June 21, 2022, CHES will be holding the Q&A event at 1 pm EST. Senior underwriters Rachana Patel and Joyce Rajadurai – both of whom were recognized by Insurance Business as Underwriter of the Year Finalists 2021 and 5-Star Underwriters 2022 – will be available online during the session to answer brokers’ questions about their commercial P&C and COC product offerings.
The two underwriters will also provide critical insights into how working with CHES would help brokers gain more business, a release said.
"At CHES, we make a concerted effort to communicate with our brokers on a daily basis, not just through emails, but also through phone conversations,” said Patel. “Communication is key for us.”
"We believe in strengthening our relationships with our brokers; we have a quick turn-around time, we follow up, we probe and find out our target price, we have a thorough knowledge of our market type, and we know our markets' appetite from top to bottom,” said Rajadurai.
“We want to assist brokers in any manner to understand our policy offerings and craft a winning proposal,” additionally commented CHES Special Risk president and CEO Gary Hirst.

In April, CHES Special Risk held a similar webinar for brokers based in Western Canada. The webinar, “What is CHES doing Out West?,” gave an opportunity for the MGA to discuss and explain its new developments, new underwriting capacity, and how it can help brokers win more business in the region.
