Lussier Dale Parizeau (LDP) has acquired Samson Consulting Group, an actuarial consulting group in Quebec.

Samson Consulting Group offers employee benefits support services to medium and large companies, federations, trade unions and professional associations.

According to a statement by LDP president André Lussier, the purchase of Samson Consulting Group – together with LDP’s previous acquisitions of Trinome Conseils and Génius Financial Group – “reaffirms [the company’s] commitment to innovate and consolidate [its] actuarial consulting services offer.

The acquisition will result in LDP having more than 800 employees, spread over 29 branches across Quebec. The firm will also have a total of over $620 million in premiums, including $275 million in group insurance.

“By joining forces with Lussier Dale Parizeau, we are building an infrastructure that will meet a growing need among our clients to offer them improved services, especially in occupational health and safety, compensation and pay equity, and commercial insurance,” commented Jean Samson, president of Samson Consulting Group.

Samson added that it is the company’s mission to nurture an understanding of employee benefit plan issues via consulting services, expertise, and communication. Samson Consulting Group will remain committed to meeting the needs of customers while helping develop corporate health – as part of the LDP family.
