Navacord broker partner Lyon & Butler has announced a suite of leadership developments effective October 31, 2022, including a new president.

Corey Arndt, who was previously Lyon & Butler’s SVP for marketing and personal lines, has been named president of the Vaughan-based brokerage.

Megan Arndt has stepped up from her role as operations manager to SVP for operations, while Sabrina Naccarato has moved from being Lyon & Butler’s business development manager to its VP for business development and commercial marketing.

Following the appointments, Lyon & Butler’s former president Ray Arndt and senior vice president Kim Arndt have announced their retirement from the brokerage after a 30-year run at its helm.

“Megan, Sabrina, and I are honoured to take on our new roles and the responsibilities that come with them,” said Corey Arndt. “We are grateful to Ray and Kim for building Lyon & Butler into what it is today – a trustworthy brokerage known for its deep technical expertise and standards of service. Together we will continue to hit new milestones and we are eager to begin this next chapter of our business.”

Paisley Partners – likewise a Navacord broker partner and Toronto-based commercial insurance brokerage – welcomed the new leaders at Lyon & Butler.

“We are confident Corey, Megan, and Sabrina will use their knowledge of the business to excel in their respective roles and congratulate them on their continued success,” said Paisley Partners president and CEO Ewen Cameron, commenting on the appointments. “We look forward to working together on this new path forward, continuing to support Lyon & Butler as our partner.”

Lyon & Butler has established itself as an expert commercial insurance brokerage in the Ontario insurance scene over the course of 85 years. It has been a Navacord broker partner since May of this year and is closely supported by Paisley Partners.
