Toronto-based management consulting firm The Burnie Group has appointed Andrew Wolch to serve as the company’s new insurance practice leader.
The appointment became effective June 09, 2020.
Wolch has spent the past 18 years in consulting, helping several financial institutions across North America to develop and implement their enterprise, business unit, and operational strategies. Prior to joining The Burnie Group, Wolch was a strategic advisor to the Financial Services Regulatory Authority – Ontario’s regulator for financial services. Before that, he served as strategic advisor to TD Insurance. He was also an executive advisor for Aviva Canada and an operational strategy advisor to RBC Insurance – both in an independent consultant capacity.

Burnie also noted Wolch’s vast experience as an advisor to Canada’s leading insurance companies, saying that Wolch’s consulting skills and industry knowledge will “further enable [The Burnie Group] to provide practical and innovative solutions for our clients in the insurance industry.”
