The Guarantee Company of North America (The Guarantee) has announced that it is partnering with Bullfrog Insurance, a recently launched online brokerage that describes itself as “insurance without the bull,” to offer web-based insurance coverage for Canadian small businesses.
Since Bullfrog Insurance is the first Canadian brokerage to quote and bind small business insurance policies entirely online, The Guarantee expects that the partnership will provide a “faster and simpler way” for enterprises to obtain business insurance that is well-suited to their particular needs.
“Small business owners today are part of a very competitive marketplace and struggle to find time to get the insurance they need without being tied up in a rather consuming process," Glenn Woodard, national vice-president, corporate insurance, The Guarantee, said in a statement.
Bullfrog asserts that its specialty lies in pairing small business owners with coverage relevant to their industry, and maintaining a team of knowledgeable brokers that can answer questions by phone or online chat.
“The online process is simple and you can select your business category from a drop-down menu so you know you are getting a policy that is specific to your line of business," said Sam Natur, president and CEO, Bullfrog Insurance. “You get the coverage you need with the security of knowing you aren't over or under insured. Bullfrog Insurance is going to flip the commercial insurance market on its head."
Since entering the market earlier this year, the brokerage has expanded beyond Ontario and now operates in British Columbia and Alberta. Outside of The Guarantee, it also boasts previously partnerships with
Aviva Canada,
South Western Group and
Northbridge Insurance.
