Westhill, a provider of digital solutions for the P&C insurance industry, is expanding into the Canadian market and has named Daniel Loosemore to lead this effort as president of Canadian operations.

Loosemore has over 20 years of experience in the property restoration space. He was previously associated with Crawford Contractor Connection, where he most recently helped in the scaling of an established managed repair network model in the US for Canada. When he transitioned from district manager to vice-president of national sales and operations, Loosemore managed to grow his team from one employee to 53, according to a release.

He also previously served Woodhouse Contracting, where he helped the business scale, rebrand and become one of the major contractor brands in Canada.

“Westhill brings a progressive technology approach to a market which has historically been well behind customer needs and consumer expectations,” Loosemore commented. “I’m excited to infuse the Canadian market with collaboration and transparency that no-one else can offer in the insurance market today.”

“Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and market intelligence that is invaluable to us. He has an incredible network and proven ability to solve problems for insurance carriers,” remarked Westhill CEO George Jones.

A release said that Westhill is “focused on embedding local talent and regional expertise in Canada to better serve their partners.”
