Apollo Insurance Solutions (APOLLO) has partnered with virtual assistant company Virtual Gurus for a new insurance distribution deal.

Virtual Gurus is a marketplace that helps connect businesses with skilled virtual assistants. The company’s remote team of virtual assistants offer services such as bookkeeping, marketing, data entry, and even administrative support.

Through the new partnership, Virtual Gurus’ client base of more than 4,000 will be offered digital insurance products through APOLLO. APOLLO’s proprietary Exchange allows insurance customers to purchase policies online, on any device.

Transactions on the APOLLO Exchange are completed in real time, and leverage data and algorithms to quote, collect payments, create, and deliver policies. The technology allows businesses and individuals to purchase insurance online without any human interaction.

“The solution that Virtual Gurus is providing is a great fit for APOLLO’s embedded digital insurance products,” said APOLLO business development manager Yonas Alemyehu. “As Canadian businesses begin to reopen, APOLLO will be there to support virtual assistants with access to digital insurance products.”

“At Virtual Gurus we are excited when companies increase accessibility and support growth of small businesses,” commented Virtual Gurus manager of strategic partnerships James Prince. “We saw that alignment with APOLLO and are excited to work together across Canada.”
