PartnerRe has announced its acquisition of predictive analytics solutions company Claim Analytics.
Founded in 2001, Canada-based Claim Analytics provides predictive modelling solutions to the North American insurance industry. A release said that the company is uniquely positioned as a predictive analytic company due to its combination of experienced actuaries and data experts.
“We are very pleased to announce the addition of this leading provider of predictive modelling solutions to our existing predictive capabilities,” commented PartnerRe president and CEO Emmanuel Clarke. “This acquisition strengthens our product offering predominantly in life and health, an important strategic area of diversification and growth for the company, and aligns with PartnerRe’s overall client focused strategy.”
Claim Analytics employees will join PartnerRe’s existing analytics team as part of the transaction. The Claim Analytics team will also remain located in Toronto and will continue to operate as PartnerRe Analytics.
