Justin is the national practice leader of the Environmental Risk Solutions team in Canada and chairs the Environmental, Social and Governance committee in Canada. The Environmental Risk Solutions team consists of 7 specialized brokers who manage the risk and insurance needs of Aon’s clients in Canada and Aon’s Canadian clients globally. In addition, he consults on environmental risk exposures, contract management strategies and bespoke risk transfer strategies, which include the continuous update of Aon’s reference policies. Justin has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Since joining Aon in 2011, Justin has been advising clients on their Environmental risk exposures and transfer strategies in all areas of business (Private Equity mergers and acquisitions, Real Estate companies, extractive industries, energy production, public entities, and many more, including creating products to reduce the barrier of entry for small and medium enterprises). Prior to Aon, he spent four years as an Environmental Underwriter with two global insurers.
Justin earned an MEB and a BES from the University of Waterloo and holds a CRM Designation. Also, he has completed the Director Education Program from the Rotman School of Management and holds an ICD.D Designation.
