Atlanta Group has appointed Mark Greening (pictured above) as director of trading for aggregators and innovation, and Ron Atkinson (pictured below) as director of wholesale – two new roles created by the brokerage group to broaden its distribution reach and range of products.

In his new role, Greening will be responsible for how Atlanta Group’s brands – which include Swinton, Autonet, Marmalade, Be Wiser and Carole Nash – optimise their strategy on price comparison websites. He will also oversee the distribution of new product launches.

Greening joins Atlanta Group after 12 years at GoCompare, most recently as a director of partner development. As director, he helped shape the price comparison website’s commercial strategy across a range of products. Greening also previously worked at Admiral, Confused and Lloyds Banking Group.

As director of wholesale for Atlanta Group, Atkinson will oversee the launch and expansion of Atlanta Hub – a rating and distribution platform which leverages the broker’s view of data, analytics and fraud to provide users with personal lines insurance insight.

Atkinson most recently served as head of insurer relationships and Keychoice distribution director for SSP. Prior to SSP, he spent 30 years at Swinton holding a number of roles.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Mark and Ron to the Atlanta family. Their experience, insight and perspectives are invaluable additions to the team as we continue to grow in partnership with our insurers to deliver long term value for customers,” said Atlanta Group CEO Ian Donaldson.
