Katie Price has been banned from driving for three months for driving while disqualified and without insurance.

Price, a former fan favourite on the panel of Loose Women, was fined £1,100 after pleading guilty to driving on the A24 near her home in West Sussex on July 25 when she mistakenly believed an earlier ban had already ended, reported Sky News.

The media outlet detailed a Crawley Magistrate Court hearing which outlined that the reality TV star drove from the short stay car park at Gatwick Airport to Dial Post, a hamlet near Horsham. This happened while a previous six month-driving ban, which was handed to her in February last year, was still in place. A newspaper reportedly called her to let her know she had broken her ban, which was then confirmed by the police.

Meanwhile, her lawyer Paul Macauley told the court Price thought the ban finished in early July, before she got back behind the wheel. He added that the former model did not contact the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) because she was “not the best” at paperwork.
