The Corporate Chartered Insurance Broker led by chief executive Peter Blanc is on an acquisition spree, with Jobson James Insurance Brokers and Jobson James Consulting Ltd the latest to come under the Aston Lark umbrella.

Representing the group’s third swoop this year, Jobson James adds offices in Birmingham, Dudley, Leominster, and Kidderminster to its new owner’s roster. Meanwhile its existing workforce, along with managing director Martin James and five directors, will join Aston Lark as part of the deal.

“Aston Lark was a compelling choice as the new home for the Jobson James team,” stated James. “It is clear that they completely understand what being an independent broker is all about – we speak the same language and share the same focus of always doing the very best we can for all our clients.

“The whole acquisition process has been handled with great professionalism and care and we now look forward to supporting the continued growth ambitions of the Aston Lark group.”

Jobson James, which came to life in 2010, brings broad expertise across all commercial sectors, private clients, and employee benefits, as well as specialist knowledge in rail, real estate, and the trade credit sectors.

“It’s fantastic to add another Chartered Insurance Broker into the Aston Lark family,” commented Blanc. “The foundations of our business are based on caring for our clients and providing appropriate advice and guidance on insurance and employee benefits solutions. It’s positive Martin and his team share these professional standards.

“We look forward to working with another like-minded broker to widen our product range and technical knowledge, all while supporting their own growth plans and giving them access to our specialities to benefit clients in the Midlands.”

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
