It may be time to wave goodbye to Ed CEO of London Andrew Draycott, but the London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA) has quickly welcomed another key name from the firm to its board.

Taking Draycott’s place is Heather Clarkson (pictured), director and divisional CEO for the firm. She joined Ed Broking as MD of its marine division back in 2018 before making the leap to her current position one year later.

“These are challenging times for everyone in the intermediary sector and we are delighted Heather is joining our board,” said LIIBA CEO Christopher Croft. “Her wealth of experience in one of London’s core markets will be invaluable, as will be her representation of our wider community and the independent wholesale community – whose voice is vital in our work.”

Clarkson’s background also includes being chief broking officer – marine and head of hull at Aon Risk Solutions, and beginning her career with Marsh where she spent 20 years in its Montreal and London offices.
