SchemeServe has announced several new appointments, growing its headcount by 50% since May.

The company has hired four new software technicians, which it calls “wunderwriters”. Chloe Morgan has joined from Open GI and has close to eight years’ experience as an insurance technician. Sheena Bird, who also came from Open GI, was underwriting release team leader for four years. Prior to that, she spent 15 years as a technical underwriter for Transactor.  She has 27 years’ experience in the general insurance market.

Annelise O’Connor has joined from Pro Global, where she was a data technician with experience across multiple insurance lines.  Before that, she was a technician for CAPITA. Laura Hayes brings with her eight years’ experience as a personal lines insurance advisor for FBD Insurance in Ireland.

SchemeServe has also hired Stephania Fasuyi as quality assurance test analyst. She was previously a software tester at Amazon and a quality assurance tester at Barclays Bank. Adnan Saleem was appointed developer, bringing over 10 years’ experience in software development and holding a master’s degree in cybersecurity.  He previously worked for a number of companies in Ireland, including Hub Solutions, Glass Lewis and ESP Technologies.

Frederica Dell’Orca has also joined SchemeServe’s marketing team on an internship.

“We’re thrilled to bring on board such great talent,” said SchemeServe CEO Adam Bishop. “Across the board, SchemeServe continues to attract some of the brightest and best. Importantly, all of SchemeServe’s software technicians have valuable insurance experience, either as brokers or underwriters, or sometimes both… I’m delighted to welcome all our new staff to the team. It has been an exceedingly busy year and we expect no let-up in the pace of our growth. SchemeServe is nothing without its people – they are the lifeblood of the company so it’s no wonder that we invest heavily in our staff.”
