Alliant Insurance Services has named Adrienne Johnson (pictured above) as a vice president within its employee benefits group.

Based in Nashville, Johnson will focus on providing strategy-driven employee benefits solutions to clients in the Southeast and across the country.

Johnson brings 20 years of experience in the employee benefits sector, having held positions as an analyst, consultant, and group leader. Her background includes expertise in healthcare cost management, population health strategies, and compliance.

She has worked with clients across multiple industries to develop benefits programs that align with financial and operational goals.

Before joining Alliant, Johnson served as health and benefits managing director at an international insurance and consulting firm. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida and is a board member of the Nashville YWCA.

Alliant Employee Benefits president Kevin Overbey said Johnson’s experience will help clients navigate compliance risks and financial sustainability in their benefits programs.

“Adrienne is a proven strategist who works alongside her clients to deliver solutions that are financially sustainable and minimize compliance risk,” Overbey said. “Her ability to bring service, innovation, and collaboration to the table will provide a distinct advantage to our clients and their employees.”

Last week, the national brokerage further expanded the division with the appointment of Crystal Calvo, also as a vice president with the employee benefits group.

Based in San Diego, Calvo will lead a team focused on professional employer organization (PEO) solutions, working with clients nationwide to enhance payroll, benefits administration, and risk management.

Calvo brings experience in benefit strategy, payroll technology, and compliance. In addition to client-facing responsibilities, she will focus on producer education and retention initiatives.

She previously served as senior broker relationship manager in the PEO division of a major payroll technology firm. Calvo holds a bachelor’s degree in global studies and political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
