Full service, independent agent Acentria Insurance has acquired the specialized, Southwest Florida-based personal and business provider, Huff Insurance.

Huff will keep its name and there’s some indication it will maintain its staff too.

“This strategic and joint partnership will accomplish a number of key goals and shared outcomes between Huff Insurance Agency and Acentria Insurance,” Jason Huff, owner of Huff Insurance Agency said.

“As a family agency, it was important to partner with another like-minded agency who shared in our values, business perspectives and deep commitment to our clients. After extensive thought and consideration, it was clear that Acentria Insurance was a perfect fit for both our clients and staff.”

Acentria was already very active in Florida, with 20 offices in the Sunshine state.

“As a leader in an ever-competing industry, Acentria Insurance continues to seek partnerships with like-minded agencies who wish to maintain their local identity and presence in the communities which they serve,” Kendall McEachern, CEO of Acentria Insurance said.

“It is important for our agency to remain close with our clients as we continue to expand in a responsible manner. By partnering with Huff Insurance Agency, and other high quality agencies, we are enhancing our service offerings to our clients, providing our employees with opportunities for growth and building stronger relationships with our carrier partners. We would like to commend the Huff family for the exceptional company, team and reputation they have built throughout Southwest Florida over the past three decades.”
