Alliant Insurance Services has announced that it has appointed Bernie Pfeiffer as a vice president in its employee benefits group. Pfeiffer will be based in Pennsylvania.

Pfeiffer has more than 25 years of experience in business development and employee benefits consulting. Prior to joining Alliant, he was a partner and vice president at a national insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm. He has also served as a sales executive on the carrier side, as well as in the medical device sector.

“Bernie takes an enterprise-wide approach to benefits consulting, combining analytics and strategy to deliver solutions that drive measurable, long-term results,” said Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits. “His broad skill set and diverse industry experience will further enhance our ability to provide powerful solutions to our clients in the Northeast and nationwide.”

Pfeiffer is the latest in a string of new additions to Alliant’s roster. Earlier this week, the company announced the appointment of Ohio-based Al Rubosky as a vice president in the employee benefits group. Last week, Alliant announced that it had tapped Florida-headquartered John Slattery as a vice president in its Alliant Americas division.
