Insurance broker and risk management consultant Ames & Gough has announced the appointment of Hollie Miller as account manager.

Miller (pictured above) will focus on law firms, associations and not-for-profits. She will be based in the company’s Washington, D.C., office.

Miller has more than 18 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Ames & Gough, she served as a senior account manager with NFP Corp. She has also held positions at Institutional Shareholder Services, Progressive Casualty Insurance Company and Allstate. Before beginning her insurance career in 1999, Miller served in the US Air Force as an intelligence analyst.

“As the US economy gradually recovers from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re seeing robust demand for our risk management and brokerage services across all areas of our business,” said Matt Gough, president of Ames & Gough. “Hollie’s focus on client service and direct experience related to our association and nonprofit practices build upon our existing capabilities and bring added value to our clients. We’re delighted that she is joining our team and look forward to her contributions to our clients and our firm.”
