AXIS Insurance recently announced that it has appointed John Tatum as executive vice president and head of U.S. Programs.
As the head and EVP of U.S. Programs, Tatum will be responsible for all programs and binding authorities for AXIS Insurance across the U.S. market.
Tatum will report directly to AXIS U.S. division CEO Carlton Maner. He will be working from the company’s offices in Illinois and Georgia.
Tatum has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, having previously served
CNA Financial Corp. for 15 years. He was previously a senior vice president of
CNA’s Middle Market, Construction and Large Casualty Business units. He also led
CNA’s Commercial Affiliation Marketing Programs for 10 years.
His early career in CNA saw him take on a number of underwriting and marketing roles.
