BXS Insurance, the wholly-owned subsidiary of BXS Insurance, has named Steve Allison (pictured) as the new regional president of its Louisiana operations.

Currently, Allison serves as the director of business risk solutions and sales leader in Louisiana – roles he has held since joining BXS in 2014. He will continue to serve those roles following his promotion to regional president.

Prior to joining BXS, Allison was vice-president of the corporate risk management division of The Shaw Group of Baton Rouge. He is a certified risk manager and a member of Certified Risk Managers International, the Risk and Insurance Management Society and the South Louisiana Risk and Insurance Management Society. Allison is also a certified public accountant.

“BXS Insurance builds its legacy daily by helping to protect the legacies of others,” commented Allison. “Our clients’ communities are our communities, and their success is our success. That is what drives us as an organization. I’m ready to enhance the client experience and the careers of the organization’s colleagues.”
