Cincinnati Financial Corporation has announced several leadership promotions, effective Jan. 1. The company said the promotions are aimed at advancing its business strategy and fostering growth in its commercial, life, personal, and specialty operations.

Sean M. Givler (pictured above left), CIC, CRM, senior vice president of commercial lines, has been named executive in charge of commercial and life insurance operations. He will oversee commercial lines, management liability and surety, sales and marketing, and The Cincinnati Life Insurance Company.

Givler has spent 27 years with the company, holding roles of increasing responsibility, including leading commercial lines operations and managing relationships with independent agents.

Will Van Den Heuvel (pictured above right), senior vice president of personal lines, will become executive in charge of personal and specialty insurance operations. His responsibilities will include personal lines, excess and surplus lines, Cincinnati Re, and Cincinnati Global Underwriters Ltd.SM.

Since joining the company in 2014, Van Den Heuvel has overseen significant growth in the company’s personal lines net written premiums.

Both Givler and Van Den Heuvel will report to Cincinnati Financial’s president and CEO, Stephen M Spray. In a statement, Spray acknowledged the company’s growth over the past decade, citing its expanded products, capabilities, and geographic footprint.

“By channeling our company's talent and resources, we can continue building for the future,” Spray said.
