Global legacy acquirer Compre has appointed Daniel Fiehn (pictured) as group chief operating officer with immediate effect.

“I am delighted to welcome Dan to Compre,” group chief executive officer Will Bridger said in a release. “He is a highly acclaimed and leading figure whose experience of designing and executing successful digital strategies will help drive significant technological enhancements across our business.”

Fiehn’s credentials include time spent as COO at insurtech Incited and Markerstudy Insurance Group. He also previously worked at Aon, HBOS, LTSB, and Sterling Insurance, bringing more than three decades of experience in operational, technology, and leadership roles in global financial services to Compre.

Earlier this month, Compre completed a significant ground-up loss portfolio transfer with underwriter SiriusPoint. Part of Fiehn’s focus will be on automation and data analytics post-deal.

“[The appointment] will support Compre’s growth following our landmark transaction with SiriusPoint, while also further enhancing our ability to meet the needs of our clients, partners, and policyholders,” Bridger said.
