CRC Group has announced the appointment of Claire Willis (pictured) as national personal lines practice leader.

Willis, who is based in Jackson, Miss., joined CRC Group in 2006 as a personal lines underwriter after graduating from Mississippi State University. Since joining CRC, Willis has grown and managed a large personal lines book of business and built “a stellar reputation” with personal lines carriers, CRC said.

“Claire’s knowledge, experience and background as an underwriter made her an obvious choice for this national leadership role,” said Dave Obenauer, CEO of CRC Group. “She is going to be an incredible asset and will be working hard to help CRC grow our personal lines practice.”

In her new role, Willis will be responsible for growing CRC Group’s personal lines footprint nationwide and will represent the company with key markets to assist with its expansion and gain market support.

“Over the past 12 months, we have invested in new personal lines talent across the country, while at the same time investing in technology to establish an online personal lines agent portal that is scheduled to roll out this fall,” Obenauer said. “With Claire’s leadership, we hope to accelerate those initiatives and continue to achieve industry-leading growth in the personal lines marketplace.”
