“Helvetia is not affected by this investigation, and the investigation is not in any way related to his work at Helvetia,” it said.
According to the newswire, the insurer added that it had no reason to question Vincenz’s chairmanship.
In another statement Vincenz outlined that he was informed of the investigation on November 01 – it was reportedly opened as part of a separate probe into Raiffeisen Switzerland, where he was chief executive. He outlined that it was in relation to his handling of an alleged conflict of interest and that he believes he handled such conflicts with care.
